WaxHeart Demo - Update (v0.0.192)
We’re pleased to see how people are enjoying our demo so far, and we’re excited to show you what we have in store next!
We’ve decided to update the demo with a small set of changes from our main branch, to improve usability and the feel of the experience.
- Fine-tuned default camera sensitivity, to make it feel less “wonky” to some players.
- Added fog barrier to the hill in the tundra, to prevent cases where players accidentally skip the first lantern and become stuck.
Technically, this update means the demo is no longer the “actual” version that we showed at the Game Developer Convention (GDC) in San Francisco in March. Going forward, we’ll refer to it as the “GDC cut” of the game, as it’s a specific slice of the content that we’re ready for people to see.
Later this year, we plan to release a larger demo, both here and on Steam, with more monsters, environments, and an exciting conclusion to the first chapter of the story!
